Calibration

Balancing and Vibration Engineering have many years’ experience in the calibration/verification of dynamic balancing machines.

We have three Schenck Rotec GmbH accredited Qualified Service Specialists (QSS) with competencies including conducting traceable verification tests of dynamic balancing machines according to ISO 21940-21 ( formerly ISO 2953), and to the areospace standard SAE AS8617.

Our certified measurement standards (test rotors) ranging from 0.5kg to 500kg for ISO 21940-21 and from 16lbs to 150lbs for SAE tests.

Schenck Rotec are the first organisation globally, to be accredited to ISO 17025 for the qualification of working standards of balancing technology and unbalance measurement in terms of geometry, mass, unbalance, speed and vibration velocity. (more information)

Balancing and Vibration Engineering operate according to the Schenck Rotec procedures and guidelines which they have established under their ISO1725 and ISO9001 accreditation.
